Shoreline Bait and Tackle
« on: September 08, 2008, 08:31:58 AM »
Hey All, just wanted to let you in on the new shop that opened in Belmar. Shoreline Bait and Tackle. Tom Clayton and his son have opened a store which you don't see around here unless you head to the rocks of Montauk, Pt. Judith and Block Island. His assortment of product is stellar and not to mention his customer service relations. Very hard to find plugs like R.I. Poppers, Plugcaster's, A.O.K., Pt. Judes, Hahn's, Gibb's, Salty's, Lex's, to name a few are in this shop. Not to mention his terminal tackle of VMC'S, Breakaway components, Mustad eel hooks, rigging needles for the sluggos hanging on the wall next to the Hogy's. He is getting more Lamiglas rods as well as reels in. Also too, where can you find the 1/2 oz lead jigs for the big shads! Tom pours his own, so they will be available. Stop by and sign up for the FREE TOURNAMENT starting Sept 15! It's free and all it takes for us to win the grand prize is to fish and weigh the fish. The prizes are outrageous with first being a free mount estimated around 800 dollars! The mount will be done by his experienced taxidermist Rich, that is right next store. Sign up soon! Also Tom has been getting eels and they are the cheapest around, this guys love to fish and give you friendly service. Stop in a say hello and let's support this guy who finally got it right and opened the store we needed badly.

I rarely get up to Belmar to fish or shop for B&T, but I have heard it is a great shop.  One day I will get a chance to stop in.

It would be great if he decided to be a sponsor!!

Well, I will be stopping in  as soon as the striper season picks up. Belmar is one of my favorite spots. And a good buddy of mine lives right on the beach ;D
