Sea Hawk 10/8-9
« on: October 09, 2008, 02:43:07 PM »
Spoke with Captain Mike of the Sea Hawk and they had real good porgy fishing yesterday.  Jumbo scup with some leaving with 30-35 keepers each.  Many with their 1 blackfish limit too.  He ended the day with a decent pull of seabass as well.

Today it seemed the porgy fishing was a little bit slower, but seabass were making up for that with more keepers and bigger sized ones TT^
Again, many with their 1 tog as well.

Get out there while the catching is good!!! chrz

Did get a pic from a cell phone of one person's catch from earlier today:

Nice report. Good to see the bigger seabass are starting to make a showing.  t^

10/9 for me on the seahawk. My keeper catch 4 porgies & 16 seabass. Probaly about 20 short seabass thrown back. A few double headers keepers & throwbacks. Great day out perfect weather.
