10/8 SH
« on: October 09, 2008, 07:26:10 PM »
Could not find bait anywhere but managed to net 5 tog up to 14". That was all in one throw and pretty funny. headed out to the rips with just eels and could not get a good drift all night. There weren't many marks and no bait seen anywhere. At around 10pm we went right up to the beach with in 2 feet and the bass looked like they were stacked on top of each other. Boated a couple there but that was it. Over all 4 guys, 1 keeper, 3 throw backs and 1 broke free right at the boat.  As we were heading in someone was saying they were busting water over at keanesburg but the boys were tired.   I

I'm going to get my revenge next time though.

That was me. I was right up on the beach. Could have jumped out and hit sand. Did you here the guy talking about fish over by keansburg around 11p? He was on 68 and said they were on top all over his boat.
