Headed out to a wreck in 85ft, didnt have much life like last time and no porgies few keeper seabass and bunch of shorts. No porgy life though.
Headed out to another in 95ft and we caught around 20 ling for the box.
Went inshore and had some nice size toggies keeping our limit of 6 total all from 3 - 6 1/2 lbs. Holly caught 3 blackfish on his first three crabs down Ever!!! Showed the boys, Nice job Mongerette. Peter also had a couple of nice ones.
We released few more and some keeper seabass here too although we were INFESTED with short bass every where we went.
sandy hook reef, was our next drop looking for some porgies but the bite was ng there...
Fishing got slower as the day went on with us, too bad blackfishing still not open.
Managed some meat though and had a good time with a great crew today.
