Sea Hawk latest reports October 12-15
« on: October 16, 2008, 12:24:36 PM »
Got out on Sunday with a good group of fishermen. Started out trying for porgies, but not enough to go around so picked up the anchors and headed to deeper waters. Mixed in some drifts along with the drops which produced pretty good action with seabass. Lots of shorts to weed thru to get keepers, but atleast it was steady action. Moved back inshore and had more seabass action. Did see triggerfish caught as well as blowfish, and short fluke which were let to swim again.

Yesterday had a pretty small group out and again the mainstay was seabass. High hook had 18 keepers. Some porgies in the mix as well as blackfish. 4lb tog took the pool money. Decent fishing overall. Lots of action, but do have to release alot of shorts to get to the keepers.

No one showed up today 5hrug

We have clams, crabs, and worms onboard.

Hey capt. The fishing's been slow lately. You have a great boat and a good reputation.  chrz

Got a text and pic from Capt Mike while he's out on the water.  Said I should have been out today as it's very good catching for the boat TT^
