I didn't see anything posted and I didn't hear about it at all!  Of course, that doesn't mean it isn't true.  That would beat the State and World Record by a pound and a half.  It certainly is possible...boy that would be crazy!  Crazier, it would have been caught in IBSP and in NJ, AGAIN!!  Here's to hoping it isn't a rumor 5hrug.

I have not heard a thing yet.  I put in calls to a few of the shops I lurk at and nothing has been brought in locally.  Unless it is hushed up because it might be a record.  But if it is, soon that type of info is hard to keep quiet for long...

It would be sweet to have the record even closer to home... ;D

I don't blame you Greg.  With the way whoever broke that record would get ripped to pieces by all the jealous fishermen out there, I might think twice about telling anyone about it either. :P
OK, who am I kidding?!  If it happened to me I'd be calling all the papers and the local news before I even had it in the net! rofla

If it is true, they are probably getting all their ducks in a row to set themselves up for endorsements.

Good luck to them in keeping the jealous ones away also, as Bucktail said.

And if it is true...here's to the lucky fisherman/woman.  chrz
