11/11 bass report
« on: November 11, 2008, 07:50:50 PM »
Had Dave and friends from local 1423 Insulator Union out for striper charter on 11/11. Got an early start left the dock around 6:00am started trolling around 6:30am and had our first bass within 10 minutes. A double header on a black umbrella rig, and it pretty much didn’t stop until about 12:30pm.  Most of the bass were caught on black umbrella rigs and today they liked green umbrella rigs and blue and green stretches had more blues then usual.  We ended the day with 20 plus bass with one at 29 inches, two going around 31 inches and one at 35 inches!  Also had a good amount of bluefish Dave and friends were an awesome bunch of guys to fish with, a great day on the water!
