The weather finally got to me and I pulled my boat today.  The forecast didn't look much better and I couldn't handle one more night of tossing and turning from worrying about my boat. I took advantage of the west wind today and rode my boat along the beach from Sandy Hook to Manasquan where she will be laid up for the winter.

Who's still in?  If so, when is it time to come out?

Just wrong Hunter!  You get to travel on the busiest travel weekend of the year. We get to sit home, watch football, , and baste turkey!and did I mention . Poor us.

I will be Striper fishing All thanksgiving weekend too.        But I will be on dads boat in North Carolina!!

Hey Hunter, how big a bird they cookin in Carolina! woke up this mornin in 28degree weather! You have the right idea! I suggest a huge njsaltwaterfisherman thanksgiving at your dad's!!! brilliant, just brilliant! PS...tell your dad us fisherman hardly take up any room...and we are well mannered.

I am well mannered also. But I do eat a lot of turkey.

Funny Guys!    We deep fry 2, 12 pound turkeys outside the garage while we help empty the Garage fridge of cold beverages. A few times it was warm enough to water ski too. As far as traffic goes, I leave Jersey around 4am and get to N.C around noon, so no traffic. I will post reports and pics from N.C

I'm trailering, last night had a 90 watt halogen bulb in the engine compartment and a 150watt spot next to the out drive keeping it warm waiting for the weekend.
