Not familiar with one first hand, but if it's for free, use it and rate it yourself. The least you can do is not like it.

Portable assc package?

When I had a 12 ft car topper aluminum boat I mounted a transducer onto a 1x3 board. Put a squeeze clamp on the other end. Had it cut long enough for the transducer to be in the water when the board was clamped to the transom. When I put the boat in the water, I clamped the board onto the transmon, unclamped the board when I was done. Wrap the wire up and your good to go.
The head unit was mounted on a Johnny Ray mount the was removable. The head unit came off and the bottom mount of the Johnny Ray stayed on the boat. Unclip from battery and good to go.

No muss, no fuss.  TT^
