Revolution Marine
« on: December 26, 2008, 11:17:22 PM »
Heads up: Revolution Marine in Tuckerton is going out of business and has everything in the store at 50% off. I just found out about this and apparently it has been going on since last friday. They even sold New boats at half of there previously selling price. There still is alot of boat stuff there, although the fishing dept. has gotten quite empty. Its worth a look if your close by. Happy Holidays. Matt.

Wow they just opened this spring. It was a pretty nice store I thought they were going to make it. I am going down to pull my boat tomorrow. I will have to check it out.

Thanks

Yeah, me and Capt Mike were there just before Christmas. I was going to do a post on their sale but with the holiday things were a little hectic and I didn't get a chance.

We talked to the owner. He said they were not going out of business but were blowing everything out at half price to get people into the store so they knew they were there.  5hrug

Said they were selling everything and then starting new. Maybe this was old inventory that they bought when they bought the store. Dunno. But everything was 50% off.

I may make another trip back to see what is left.

I've been there 4 times. Loaded up on stock for the upcoming season. Picked up a few rods and reels while I was at it. Matt.

I loaded up on some fluke rigs and gulp tubs, wax and stuff to winterize the boat. I also bought a bunch of odds and ends. They said they will open again in the spring but I don't know. But for 85 bucks it was well worth the trip.

Wednesday is the last day for sale. I am going back to get bottom paint and more fluke rigs. They a bunch of stretch 20s do they work as well as the 25s. For 5 bucks I think I will pick a few up.

Stretch 20's are good. They are just smaller and do not dive as deep as the 25's.  Sad to say I lost a stretch 30 at the Shrewsberry rocks in November. :'( :P

I stopped by this morning before work.  There were about a half dozen or so Stretch 20s left.

I got some of those Ronz baits, a couple of Gags wooden lures, and a bunch of (what else?) bucktails of course! ;D
