My buddy Brian and I fished on the Mimi today for their open all day blackfish trip.  Joined by some other guys from other boards, wound up being a full boat with 20 fares..

Ran north.. Made three drops all day with good life on every one, with some lulls.  Drop #1 and #3 probably were the best.

Kenny and Chris did a great job all day keeping us on the meat for the better part of the day...

My buddy Brian and I boxed our 12 fish limit with my best fish going ~8# late in the day when the current was roaring... Green crabs, white crabs, whatever ya dropped down it was a pretty steady bite all day long with some real nice spurts.. Lots of quality fish around the boat and probably 3/4 of the boat was limited out... Overall excellent trip and the chowder will be brewin' in a day or two  t^

Mike I might be doing a trip again in a week or so, maybe we can get you out on that trip and play with the jiggin' rods  slt

I used one of the chicken forker jiggin' rods on the boat the other day; great jiggin' rod, great for seabassin' and even flukin', and not too shabby for catching tog  TT^
