My Planer Boards weigh 1.2 ounces
« on: December 26, 2008, 08:42:17 AM »
I'd to like to hear what folks think of my ultra light planer baord design. They combine planer board and surf board concepts. The surfing action keeps them riding high and they have more planing power then you would think for their size.  The foam is really tuff and flexible.

I picked up some 4" x 6" bags. They break down to fit in the bags and fit easily in a pocket.

Here is quick clip of one in my table top test pool.

I am really hoping to go full time at making them and selling them for $15.  I call them the DualFin and set up a website www.DualFin.com

Thanks,

Paul Lieb

Looks interesting, good luck with them.  As I am strictly surf it would be hard to cast that out to where I would like it to go, only kidding.  Good luck... t^

Very Neat.. Not sure of it's use in Saltwater but I see it works well in fresh along banks and such..  Good luck with your endeavor.. And if you make it big one day.  Don't forget about us t^

Not too fond of having my line in the teeth of a metal aligator clip. nosmly
How did the field tests go? Do they stay on the line when a fish is hooked? Bounce along the surface if trolled too fast? Maybe OK for freshwater use. Best wishes and Good Luck. <'((((><
I've spent most of my life fishing, the rest I've just wasted     <'((((><
