Had Joe Tuna Tales charter today, which included Jeff, Chuck, Charlie, Smokey Tom and Jim.
Headed out under nice conditions to the ENE, First drop was in 68 ft of water. Picked a few shorts, couple keepers etc shifted and got a little flurry of BIG size fish. QUALITY was the word of the day. Jim landed a hog and personal best at 10lbs10oz. An 8lber came up right after. Moved to the east and it was Joes Turn banging his personal best 9.5lbs and an 8 on two cast in a row. Chuck banged one at 9.9 personal best. Jeff had three nice ones over 6lbs
Made a few more drops, and we picked some keepers. Someone got a phone call and handed the rod to Wayne who promptly put another 9lber in the boat . Some body else was hurtin from some football activity the day before
We wound up with 1 over 10lbs, 3 over 9lbs, 4 over 8lbs, with a bunch of other around 4-6lbs. We ended up with 40 keepers sending everyone home with a limit.
Tough scratchy bite and the guys worked hard at the rail all day to put a catch together .
Great way to end the season good times and lots of laughs, Nice seeing ppjj
