IBSP 5/21
« on: May 22, 2007, 07:31:00 AM »
Had good blues in the morning to mid-afternoon.  Between my Pop & me we wound up catching 32, only keeping 16 though.  They were so heavy we had to split the rope and each carry half out.

Later I clammed picking up a 25" bass, then back to the inlet for some more blues.

Over all from Thursday afternoon to Friday night; I picked up 22 blues from 4lbs - 7lbs
and one bass & my pop picked up 24 blues.

Good times!!!

Good job.  Bluefish = the saviour of the day a lot of times.  Great fight, always fun to catch.   t^

Great report thanks for the post.

I have been trying to get out for the past week now, I hope to get out this week before the weekend crowds arrive.

We are planning to be out there Sat. night through Sun. morning and beat the crowds that way.  I hear some chatter that there is a low coming through which might put a damper on everything we'll see.

My Pop says that blue fish are God's gift to fishermen!  Pound-for-pound they are (IMHO) the best fighting fish around!!!   TT^
