Good going fishslayer.

This time of year things are a little bit slow, you almost have to spoon feed them.  I know that this is going to sound crazy but if you are using light tackle you might want to try putting a bobber about 3' above your bait and no weight.  Okay everyone go ahead and laugh but this is old school and well if things are not working I go back to my roots.  Try it you might be pleasantly surprised.  After all they use balloons to fish for sharks and that is nothing more than a big bobber isn't it?

Who knows you might start a trend up there or you might want to keep it a secret if you do catch something... t^

Happy Catching

Nothing wrong with bobbers.  We used to get into big weakfish 10-15 years ago on pieces of shedder crabs and worms and lit bobbers at night on the Beachwood Municipal Dock!  It does work ;D.

Paul, they still do use bobber in the Tuckerton area at the stakes to keep a fluke rig up out of the weeds. I've been told it works like a charm.  TT^

I will be going back out to IBSP later in the morning with some light tackle and float blood worms.  I can't believe how expensive those babies are.  The B&T's locally are not handling them any more at $12.50 a dozen and only about 4 to 5 inches long it is not worth it.

I think the only B&T locally that is handling them if Murphy's Hook House on 37 East.

Yeah, the worms are expensive!  They aren't the easiest to catch and maybe there is a shortage 5hrug!
