Steve

What are you looking to fish for?  Right now is the beginning of Flounder, has been slow...water needs to warm. It is also Striper season but again, nothing much happening...water needs to water up.....

I would wait until end of April

at this point, the longer you wait the better the fishing will get.  So the rest is up to you.
Fish out of Toms River NJ.
Call Nick for open boat, 973-417-5756, or on Channel 68.

Defiantly wait.  I have been out an number of times in the back bays and the water is just to cold and the bite is way off.

It is at least 1 to 2 weeks off plus the rain and cold has not helped at all.  They are predicting rain for the weekend here which should slow things up even more.  Wwe have not been able to get a number of days in a row of warm temperatures to kick start things.
