Sea Girt Reef
« on: March 23, 2009, 08:05:06 AM »
I went out to the Sea Girt Reef yesterday. Spent about 5 hours drowning crabs and clam The only thing I caught was a skate. The water temp was 42 degrees. It was a the first trip of the season so it was nice just to get out. At least I had something bite. I'll be out this week for flounder. Lets hope the weather and the fish cooperate.

A bit breezy. It picked up in the afternoon but not bad. Not to cold though.

You need to get out to 90+ feet to catch any blackfish rigth now. Thats were we got them this weekend. Hopefully in the next few weeks they'll be closer inshore.
