Hey guys, we set out to the back bay for the first trip of the year today. We looked for some bottom changes and some warm water. The best we were able to find was 42.4 deg. We double anchored in about 12 feet. We had two bass rods and one flounder rod. I worked the flounder rod for about 2 hours until we lost the bite on the starboard anchor. Nothing. But that was not why we went. Did manage one 22" bass that was freezing cold. I took a pic with a camera phone, he looks smaller in the pic. Skunk is off. That was it, done by 1pm. Will be out friday again, this time afternoon into dusk.
