Do you have free time during the week and looking for something rewarding to do? If so, we have the perfect project for you! Every year the NJ DEP Division of Fish and Wildlife introduces fishing to thousands of new anglers at the Pequest Trout Hatchery and Natural Resource Education Center. It is only through the efforts of our fishing education volunteers that we can accomplish this great task.
If you think you would like to give this volunteering opportunity a try, please join us on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at 8:45am at the Pequest Trout Hatchery to receive our fishing education instructor training. This short morning program will conclude at our Fishing Education Pond where you and other DFW volunteers will participate in a fishing education class with one of the many school groups that visit the hatchery each year.
If you are currently a fish ed. volunteer, please forward this e-mail to someone you know who may be interested.
If you are interested in attending this training, please contact Jessica Griglak at 908-637-4125 or by e-mail at Jessica.Griglak@dep.state.nj.us for directions and to register.
