Barnegat Bay Flounder
« on: March 31, 2009, 07:24:26 PM »
Going to be splashing the boat in a couple of weeks. I'll be in Tuckerton this year and I'll be learning the area. I hope to start by making the run north and trying for winter flounder around the Barnegat area. How late does that bite last? Any other tips wopuld be appreciated.

The flounder season usually turns on first at Oyster Creek (inside) for obvious reasons.  Then to the mouth of the creek and the surrounding areas.

Further east Meyers hole behind the lighthouse is also a popular spot. t^
