IBSP 5/31

There were bunker all over the place today.  Some nice bass were taken at Midway Beach this morning.  We got into some decent sized blues @ area 7 and followed them up to the pocket at the Jetty.  I caught 3 and lost 3 others, my Pop caught 2 and had two cut-offs.

Fish were 11 - 12 pounders; the picture doesn't do them justice.  All caught on metal lipped swimming plugs or poppers.

We also removed a hook from a guys hand, blue shook just as he grabbed it, put the hook right thru his pinky....And took the hooks of a mullet rig out of a seagull's mouth.

Quite a day to say the least!

Nice fish.  Wow, seems like you have to be a doctor to fish the beach.  TT^

Too funny...The "Gull" was caught on a bunker head...A guy was walking up the beach with the brid wrapped in his shirt & girlfriend in tow.

Those batting gloves I use because of the braided line come in handy for catch & release Seagull fishing too!!!!
