Shakedown cruise day with MBoy on the Funky Munky. Late start around 10 AM after getting some things squared away at the dock in the AM.
Started pulling stretches on the flats heading north to the Reach. Few marks but nothing doing. Quick move to the deeper water and found great marks on the slopes in 30-33 ft. Worked the area hard trolling and stopped a few times to bounce bucktails and metal off bottom - couldnt get anything going.
Decided to head to some shallower water once again and had fish on right away and some great readings. Over the next 1 1/2 hours we boated 7, dropped another 3, and kept 3 for the grill, biggest going 34".
Back to the dock to get the Funky Munky in her slip and ropes/bumpers tied up. Great weather and a great trip to shake the cobwebs off especially after the last 3 weeks I have had!!!
