Met Steve in Riverdale at 11:30 am.
Picked up Live Herring and off we went.
We arrived at Clinton Reservior at 12:10 pm.
There were guys fishing for stockies at the Launch ramp and these guys would not move
So there was only 1 thing we could do was Launch Steve's 16 ft Monark
Steve suggested we slow troll Live Herring before getting to the spot.
We had a few hits but we missed both Fish slow trolling.
Steve made a move way in the back of the reservior.1st drift in 42 ft of water Steve lands a 17" Smallie.After the smallie was released we did not get another bite drifting.
Since the bite as slow on the troll & drift and the wind was cranking we dropped the anchor and never got a bite.
It's a good thing we had some Adult drinks in the cooler otherwise it would have been a long afternoon
Even though the catching was slow we had Fun !
PS the cooler was empty when we got back to the ramp !
