IBSP 6/2

Fished Gilkins this morning, sunrise to about 11am . All Bluefish today, Took 5 home, released 7, lost another 3. All took LARGE baits(Big Bunker Chunks or Bunker Heads) Not a single hit on small bunker chunks or clams. I did see one Bass Come up onto the beach,and one Black Drum, otherwise we all had a case of the Blues.<'((((><

Bluefish are "AWSOME EATING MACHINES". They are tough fighting brutes,I love catching them,and I'm one of those people who like to eat'em.(Mercury just might be effecting my brain)! <'((((><

A friend of mine pulled this out of the surf on a pencil popper during the blues blitz in the evening...38lbs!  He also caught four blues the largest bei ng 17lbs.




I of course was sitting at area 21 & caught NADA!!!
