ALL
Welp, I should have known better....All set to keep you posted on the days events and realized that no one sent a memo to the bass or blues....
we headed out in what has become a regular nuisance, FOG. Only good thing about fog is you're able to establish if you're radar is working properly!!
we were hopeful that the calm, flat seas would allow us to jump swirling bass in the low light.....plan a- didnt happen
continued north to the rocks for plan b- jigging bass and blues in some favorite Cock Robin spots, plan b failed us....did i mention the fog?!
got reports from our friends the Jamaica and Miss Belmar that there was a pick of blues, where....further north!! yup, fog still with us!
got on station and did some scouting and set plan c up....FINALLY some bluefish began to cooperate and a few coolers got bloodied. oh, NOW we had some visability!
Capt Jim continued to work hard to find the fish, but today wasnt going to be the day, we managed a dozen to 15 fish for the day with a great effort by ALL the folks aboard.
we sail again tomorrow and Sunday, 7:30a departure, returning around 2:30p
