5/27 fluke trip raritan bay
« on: May 27, 2009, 06:21:07 PM »
took the murphy charter out for some early season fluke....hit the usual early season haunts inside....stayed in close due to wind....the boys had alot of action today but almost every fish was 17 inches (they looked like keeps in the water and were nice and thick fish). a few drifts in the shrewsbury had same results.
and if i did sea robin charters i would be the king of the dock!!!!!!!!
lots of action for the guys to keep rods bent tho!....good sign of things to come!
water temp 63.5 on the incoming

Good trip Capt.  The keepers will come.  Our keepers on Monday were in deeper water - 55' if that helps.
