Sea Hawk Fluke 5/31
« on: May 31, 2009, 09:14:00 PM »
Had a good shot of fish this morning and then slowed to a pick of fish. Pool fish went 4.5lbs.

The Magic Hour trip again had better fishing, so don't let the afternoon time disuade you from going fluking. Definetely been worth the trip as yesterday we had 22 keepers and over 100 shorts for a small crowd. Even better tonight overall.

Morning trips will be improving as conditions change along. Magic Hours are quite good now, so come on out and give it a try.

Thanks for the report Capt. Mike.  Looks like I might be aboard on June 24 with the American Legion.  My Uncle twisted my arm a bit.  It should be interesting being it will be fully catered and all. Looking forward to it.

Was out on the 7am trip Saturday.  LOADS of shorts and sea robins but neither T nor I could manage a keeper.  Quite a few just a 1/4" short ::)

Keepers did come up and my uncle was high hook with 3 fluke up to 4.5lb.  Pool fish came up on the last drift right at the end...a nics 5.4lb flattie.

Of course I get a call saying I should be out there now for the Magic Hours trip as they really got into better action.  Yesterday too...about 2:30pm I get the message to come tonight for Magic Hours 3:30pm departure.  Would have but was out with T and the in-laws.  Of course they caught them up again rofla

Figures, huh?  rgmn thud rgmn
