Out with the Monday crew today. More of a recon trip for the JCAA tourney this Saturday.
Before the fluke search began we found a mess of bunker. Snagged a few and set them out. No takers.
Moved to several different spots without a touch.
Gave the bass a try for a few and then went off for the fluke recon. Hit several of our 'out a distance' spots in search of some big flatties. Ralph found a 21 1/2 incher, the only keeper fluke of the day. We all found some big doggies. The doggies were all over our 'out a distance' spots. Harold found a decent seabass.
Tried inshore and caught and released many short fluke and seabass.
Went back to trying for bass. Captured some more bunkers and was rewarded with a bluefish about the size of the bunker.
