Heard from some reliable sources the evening bite was the way to go for some good striper action. So Liz and I headed down in the late morning and I limped out on one motor. We headed south to Spring Lake area where we were able to snag some bunker. Unfortuneately there were no striper on the bunker at this time. Working on reports from friday night fishing trips I headed north and stopped by the marina and picked up my brother and then continued on north. Headed to red church were we saw a few boats we made a few drifts and had one short runoff with no hook set. Heard reports of action a little south were we proceeded and came across several boats landing fish. All said and done we went 2 for 6 on whole bunker. Both being in the 30# class. It's nice to be able to say a 30 lber is average.
