Todays trip I tried to change things up a bit. Due to the forcasted winds and a few slow days fishing down to the south I decided to run north. It almost felt like cheating on a old girlfriend. Blackfish Doug met me at the boat and we set our site on some light tackle fluking. A big thanks to Capt Allen of the ReelClass who's reports from the area have been a great. We manage to catch the bottom of the out going and some of the incoming. It was not the insane bite I have been searching for but we did have a decent pick at times. We finshed with 49 fluke with one 19" keeper. Most of the shorts were of postage stamp size. Fished small strip baits most of the day and moved in and out of areas do to tide flow. We found fish East and West of 35. On a side note the crabbing around Seaside has been great the last 5 days. Catchem Up
