Left the dock at 5:45 Pm to give it a quick shot to see whats around.Norht West wind and outgoing tide to slack.
Few shorts, on killies ,kept moving further off.
Few more shorts and couple of blues and moved further off.Used bait, gulp, robin and metal.
Kept watchful eye on the storm clouds out of the North. Then the storm came around from the West too.
The weather radio and visible observation show it going nasty fast.
WHATS THAT? BASS the size of your dock box breaking water and slapping bunker just in front of the STORM,Heavy Rains and HAIL the size of three oz. sinkers.
Severe winds, and hail continued for 20 minutes. Snagged Bunker but No hook ups on the bass. Got out of Dodge City and Headed for the barn as there was lightning in the distance.
Ended the quick trip with one keeper fluke, two blues, two robins and nada bass.
Lets see what tomorrow brings.
