6-26 PM bassin
« on: June 26, 2009, 10:54:08 PM »
My sons Nick,Adam and I broke to inlet around 4:30 pm and headed north picked a couple bunker and saw a small fleet gathering off spring lake in about 50' of water.  soaked the bunker and had a tangle with our two lines. You know thats when u get a run off of course, well that one broke off and just as I grabbed the other line it went off, score Nicks first striper a 25lb.  After that the bunker disappeared and we had no more bunker and thats to bad other guys were hooking up all around us. I jigged for a while NADA we left to find bunker but by then we didn't find the fish again.  Fished a while longer and then the storm was comming fast, time to go.

A 25 pounder for his first striper?!  That's it.  The kid's spoiled now.  My advice would be to sell the boat and break all the rods.  Because all he's ever going to want to do now is go fishing! ::)  And then all those video games you spent so much on are just going to go to waste! rgmn

Just kidding, of course! ;D  Nice job guys!  Congratulations on your first striper Nick! t^

Nice Kev, You know your always invited.  Any way you would have caught all the fish and the kids would not have had a shot.  Your like a striper magnet.
