Sandy Hook Reef and Scotland Report.7/10/09

 Fished with my son,who was the Captain today. Had South East Winds heading out in addition to  nice size swells.Had to throttle up and down to keep it smooth.
Constant slow pick,plenty of shorts and 8 sea bass in the box.Moved around some in between.
Moved further off and boxed two 4to 5 lb flatties with enough shorts in the mix  and then the South East  Wind really picked up with plenty of white caps.And more white caps.
Following sea all the way back, made a few drops along the way. Hopefully back at it Sun.
Had the pleasure to talk with Jeff  Z Obsession and he did  very good offshore.

Nice job AJ.  Sounds like the action picked up nicely.   Those rollers were something else today! I was making a dash to the beach when you hailed.  If the conditions were better I would have turned around but as it was I was pressing the time.  Had to get home for my daughters play.
