Weekend fishing on the Irish Ayes
« on: July 07, 2009, 04:10:44 PM »
Had three different crews out on the Irish Ayes over the holiday weekend. We are finding a lot of short fluke, not many keepers.

We have been going north to Monmouth Beach and above for the keepers we have managed.

Saturday =6 keepers
Sunday = 7 keepers
Monday = 6 keepers

Also threw in a half dozen nice sized sea bass on each trip.

Will be pulling a five day stint starting Thursday. Thursday will be for blue fish and the other days will be for fluke. Saturday's trip will be a fluke tournament day for my marina. I hope to be able to find the big ones by then.
