Fishing in IR DE

Hello all

I am new to this fourm. I Fish North Jersey out of Lentze Marina. I just got back from vacation and fished the entire week our of Indian River Marina. We fished the IRI for a little each day with only TB fluke. We headed out to the Old Grounds and DB with just one keeper. Found a fourm called DelMarva Saltfish and joined. Got some good information from this report and started fishing some of the reef structure. We lost a lot of lead and rigs, but that is where the fluke were. Picked up some nice flatties. I left the boat down there and will be returning next Friday for another week. I'll keep you all posted. When I return, it's back to NJ and I will be sure to post after every trip.

Yes I love the sport. My 13 year old daughter Robin (where the boat name Sea Robin came from) and I fish almost every weekend, as long as the wife lets us. I have fished the small back bays for almost 20 years, and moved to the big water about four years ago. I normally monitor 65, 68 and 71. Don't know when I will be back on the NJ waters but will post a report as soon as I do.

Welcome Sea Robin!  I'm just a little south of you in Doylestown!  When I have time I run to the Manasquan or Shark Rivers.
I do travel south for about 2 weeks each summer, go right past Indian River and fish in OC Md.

The limit in Delaware is 4 Flounder (Fluke) at 18 1/2".
The limit in and out of Ocean City, Maryland is 3 Flounder (Fluke) at 18"
