« on: July 16, 2009, 03:06:36 PM »
Sailed with a light crowd of just 13 flukers today. LOTS of action. Easily 250 fish released. Did manage 20 keepers for the 13 fares.

Please check out our website for our current open boat sailing schedule and chartered dates in the calendar section.

We are charterd for both trips this Saturday 7/18 and during the morning on Sunday 7/19.

We will be sailing OPEN for the Magic Hours trip on Sunday 7/19.

Sailing open boat on Monday to Friday(7/20-7/24)

We will be chartered on 7/25 and 7/26 during the mornings.

Not a bad catch, considering how the fishing has been.

I was on the SH trip today as my open boat deep water flukin trip was cancelled because of the NOAA forecast, which was a non issue in the Raritan Bay today.

Capt Mike covered a lot of ground today and overall the fishing was really pretty good.....I caught mucho shorts, including a double header on the bucktail and teaser....also caught the "money fish" for the pool and dinner.

Nice day on the SeaHawk

Good going on the pool fish.  I am looking to go again in late Aug or early Sept. as soon as the American Legion makes the date solid.  Capt. Mike runs a great boat, looking forward to being on board again.

I heard they also had some pretty good action on their Magic Hours trip as well.  More shorts than keepers, but good action to keep you interested. TT^
