Hi everyone;
Its been a long winer and spring season and I haven't fished since January 2009. Sorry for the late post but here it goes.
We entered the Middletown Elks & Raritain Bay Anglers Fluke Tournaments both held on Saturday 7/18/09.
The team consisted of Capt. Stellios, Uncle Paulie, my Dad and myself. Ariving at the BACCALA we encounterd a few problems. Radar & GPS not opperating properly. A few quik fixes and we were under way. Turned the Hook and headed south to the sticky stuff.
I expierenced a few more equipment isuess and lost a few nice fish to boot. Thats what you get when you miss half a season and don't pay attention to your stuff.
Aftyer working out the kinks I managed to boat a nice 2 nice fish for the scale. Stellios puts a nice one in the box as well. The other two well lets just say they fillet alot of fish. The total tally was 19 keepers with both Stellios and myself with a limit.
Back at the weigh station for Middletown Elks we managed a 2nd place finish and a 1st place for biggest Elks Fish. Total weight was 22.19lbs with my 2 fish goin 8.02 & 7.95lbs and Stellios picking up the slack @ 6.22.
Knowing that Team TNT had a slightly larger fish good for fourth place in the Raritain Bay Anglers we oppted not to run in to weigh our largest.
It was great to bee back out on the water finally and I cain't wait for this weekend.
