Bandit Sat and Sun Pm Bottomfishing
« on: July 20, 2009, 11:03:49 AM »
Scotty had something to Do this weekend so i skippered the Bandit Thurs, Sat, and Sun afternoons.

On thurs we had a blue fish trip, which the bite has been terrible locally as of late needless to say we didnt see one >:(

Since the blues was slow we made sat and sun afternoons bottomfishing...

Sat we played around with some seabass inshore though it was heavy with shorts... Headed offshore and picked a some ling and even had a dozen 12-14in whiting

Sun we bounced around in the 100 ft depth. Had a good pick of Ling couple of short cod, and congas... Good bags of ling for everyone!!!

Nice weather!!!

Nice job Capt Jerry!

Bluefishing always seems bad around this time of the year.  Whiting back in waters off of NJ...maybe I will see the fishery again in my lifetime?
