Would like to go fishing from a bulkhead or a pier with picnic tables close by,any suggestions. Preferrably in the Belmar area or close by.

Sorry there is nothing in the northern part of Ocean County that I can think of.  I will do some research though.

Usually if there is picnic tables this time of year you have to have a badge or pay to go on the property though.  I will check for you

You might have to go south a bit more for something like that.

In Belmar you can go to Maclearie park and find some picnic tables.  You can walk over to the fishing dock or the bulkhead by the boats.  Not always the greatest fishing but there are some fluke caught there.  There is also a small beach there called L street beach.

On the north side of shark river 1st house from the ocean you can fish in there back yard.they don't own the rights and there fence is 25 yards short of the bulk head people are there all the time i have even seen tents and grill's there so bring a small table and wet your lines you just have to go over the draw bridge into Avon make first left and first left again and it is your house on the left if you pass the coast guard station you went to far.hope this helps
