Hunter 2-Fluke report, Raritan bay Triangle, July 27,09
« on: July 27, 2009, 01:00:41 PM »
I had a 3 1/2 hour window to fish this morning so I pulled out of the slip in Keyport to try up by the triangle. I saw this Misty morn drifting around not doing much  and I spoke to kezr on the VHF  who was having a pick at the Fluke a short distance away. After a few drifts near Round Shoal I made a move to the 47 Buoy down the channel. I pulled in a nice 23 1/2" Fluke that weighed in at 5 1/2 pounds on the Boga grip. He hit the teaser over the Bucktail  with the yellow gulp minnow on it. The next few drifts produced shorts and my time was running out so I packed it in. Nice day out on the water..Good Luck!,   Eddie

Good work Eddie... the sweet water must have helped you fine tune your salt water touch.
