Raritan Bay 8/1
« on: August 01, 2009, 03:53:59 PM »
out of Sayreville this morning a little after 6 with fishing buddy John, headed for the Red Bank Reach and started off with a slow pick of shorts, plus I seemed to be dropping or misssing quite a few,had fish every drift until the drift sort of died.moved out to the 19 can in the Reach and no takers.so moved back bay for the swing to incoming,by the light house,South Amboy sand barges and around the train bridge and also the river side but nothing.in all maybe 8 fluke caught today but non for the box, headed in around 1:15 to beat the traffic at the ramp, just about beat that, after I was out the ramp got busy with a mix of going in and coming out,one of the reasons usually don't fish weekends.finally seemed like summers here on the water,if only the fish would cooperate.    Kez

Fishing Sandy Hook and anywhere I can get on a boat.
