Fluke north of the Mantaloking Bridge
« on: July 30, 2009, 02:06:34 PM »
I was wondering if anyone has been fishing the bay north of the  Mantaloking bridge? And if so  what spots have been producing the most. I always liked the deeper water near the canal.. Thanks

I'm also curious of this area - has it been producing any fluke? Going back just a bit - before the new bridge construction, I would occasionally do well fishing NNE of the bridge.

Last Wednesday there were 4 boats drifting near the South End of the canal near the Bay Head side on the incoming.....used to be ok for fluking and winter flounder  there, although I haven't tried it in over 20 years.
