Raritan Bay Ramps
« on: August 10, 2009, 12:04:22 PM »
Hi all, I normally have been trailering down to Barnaget Bay but it's a good ride for me. How are the ranps at Leonardo or AH. Is there ample parking? Being a weekend warrior a lot I'd hate go to a launch and there is no parking?

Thanks!!
Bill

All things considered, ramp is ok. 2 lanes not a lot of floating dock.  Plenty of water most of the time however could get dicey on super low tides  Plenty of parking.  Ramp fee is $15. Description is for Leonard ramp.

Go to AH, its the best ramp in that area. Their a couple dollars more but its worth it.

Check out the Keyport municipal ramp. If fishing the raritan. Wagners marina has one and so does Keyport marine Basin. I would launch from The highlands if fishing down that area.
