Mate looking for work!
« on: June 08, 2007, 10:37:29 AM »
Hello, everybody, been reading this site for a little while, great group of guys on here.

Wondering if any charter or party boats are looking for a part or full-time mate, mainly for inshore fishing(I'd need more training for offshore, but would love doing that as well).  I have a couple of years experience, but haven't done it in a few years.  I miss it, need to get back into it!  I'm 22, don't smoke/drink/drug, am very reliable and timely, superb with customers, and have been fishing all my life.  I may need minimal training to get down the routine on your boat, as I've always noticed every boat has their own routine and preferred way of doing things.  My experience was on a 49 passenger charter boat.  I live in the Woodbridge area, but have no problem travelling as far south as Pt. Pleasant, and anywhere north is cool as well.  My schedule is flexible, pretty much any weekdays and most weekend days are free, looking for 3-4 days a week of work on average.  References can be provided if necessary.  Please pass this on to anyone who might be interested!  My phone number is 732-986-4093, name is Scott.  Thanks!!!!

The help is greatly appreciated, I'll have to pick up this week's Fisherman.  You guys have been more helpful and supportive than I could've ever hoped for!
