Hoping for a repeat of last weeks fishing success Tom and I had the Roosters out on Sandy Hook Bay looking for a few keeper Fluke. We pounded the area hard around where Cliff (Tinknocker) usually fishes even meeting up with him and Peggy Lee. The fishing was slow to say the least only landing one keeper Fluke of about 19". The rest made up of Sea Robins, Blues and plenty of Calico crabs. Snapper Blues are in Atlantic Highlands Harbor big time. We fished all morning from 7:00 AM to about noon, the rain only stopping as we slid into our slip. Pete
