Raritan Bay Fluking 8/6
« on: August 06, 2009, 06:22:21 PM »
out of Sayreville this morning with fishing buddy John, headed straight up To the TC buoy,on the first drift John gets a 20 incher and me tagging along catching the shorts, fishing between the number 1 buoy and the TC buoy most of the morning in a light rain with a calm bay and a very good drift, talked with Salty Dog on the cell he was out in the Belford Channel.John then gets a nice fat 23 inch+ that went about 5 lbs on my digital scale.moved around in the area and spotted the Peggy Lee (AJ),had spoken to him earlier on the radio, pulled up and talked awhile then continued fishing, watched AJ pull in 2 nice keepers.then we moved out of the area and worked the Reach going Back Bay to the 18 can, managing only a few shorts, then tried the triangle and kept working back, did pick one more just missing by a 1/2 inch.me,I didn't contribute to the box today, but a great day on the water, great meeting up with AJ and talking to him.headed in around 3.    Kez
