Broke the inlet around 1:30pm, headed to the AC reef where I was told was productive. Had a few nibbles, small seabass, used 3 and 4 oz spros tipped with a combo of gulp, smelts, squid. Tried this area for an hour, decided to move to the SG reef. worked the reef, nothing doing. Moved north to the RB church, gor a small fluke, lost sever rigs, came in around 5:30pm with 2 guys and nothing to show for it. Not sure if the AM was better- please let me know. I was surprised as to the lack of boats anywhere yesterday afternoon. How's squid head area been doing? I think I hit the major 3 area yesterday, foung the afternoon fluking to be fairly pathetic. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks, Dan. PS- fished between 50-75 ft water in the red brick area- the actual hump and just east of it are so brutal with lost rigs..must have lost 50.00$ worth of weighted bucktials and fluke rigs...Great dinner after at Harpoon Willy's in Brielle.
