Fluke Saturday 8/8
« on: August 09, 2009, 10:55:20 AM »
Started out this morning with a stop to see Capt. Rich at --------  Rt. 88 Brick for some Killies that Sam insisted on having.  Left out of the inlet around 7:30am and headed out to some rough bottom in 75ft. Started with the place all to our own, and had fish right from the start. Drift after drift we had alot of Fluke, picking up keepers mixed with the shorts. Other boats that were fishing in shallow on our way out soon joined us in the deeper water, head boats included. Hammered away all day putting together 20 keeper fluke on --------- Killies/Squid combo. Had a bunch of Seabass mixed in with about 10 keepers, a few Ling and Searobins rounded out the mix. Dispite the wind, seas, and current, 10-12 oz of lead did the trick all day. Weather and marine forcast kept me home today, will have to do the Shark trip another day.  <'((((><
I've spent most of my life fishing, the rest I've just wasted     <'((((><

 t^ Very nice!
Fishing Sandy Hook and anywhere I can get on a boat.

My biggest fear is when I die my wife sells all of my fishing tackle for what she thinks I paid for it!
