Tuesday report.

Had a friend on board who had invited me to fish his boat yesterday so I returned the invite.
We knew it was going to be a hot humid day so we hit it hard early before we baked.Worked on a West wind and stayed local with nice drift.Picked through the 12 shorts and three robins and ended with two keeper just over 18 1/2 inches.
Pilot from the ZObsession(what a beautiful boat) was kind to deliver a gift of bait,which was used also, but the bait that took the action was killies and squid. t^
One note: while Bull$$hitting to my fishing partner on a drift, I came soooooo close to a buoy I could have touched it with my fishing rod. nosmly nosmly  My Bad.
Taking tomorrow off and hopefully back at it Thursday.

That Steiger is a sweet ride too!  t^ Glad that you had a decent day out there.  It was hot a blazes. Someone turn on the AC or pour me a cold one chrz Those cans will creep up on you when your BS'ng with good company.

Nice catch AJ  t^ My buddy and I did the same thing we were BS and fishing  I then turned and looked behind us and we came real close to a couple in an anchored boat!!! nosmly

Nice catching!  I think mistakes like that happen to everyone on an occassion.  It certainly wakes you up and makes your more careful...I think they are God's way of scaring us a bit so nothing bad does happen ;).

That's OK AJ.  I was out striper fishing one freezing cold November night by myself and got turned around somehow.  End result was I smashed my prop right into the marker buoy.  Bent the prop up pretty well and slid right up onto a sandbar. :P
