Fished Saturday with My son-in-law, wife and myself fished while my daughter held the bunk down. Started the day of in the deep water off of Deal and it was a parking lot out there, tried a drift and had little excitment, so I moved in just north of Asbury in 45 feet of water where we scored last weekend and we bailed shorts over the rail endlessly and the wife put 3 nice keeper seabass in the box, couldn't buy a keeper fluke. Sunday it was me the wife and Coyote Cal, Headed north again out of SR inlet and gave the Irish Ayes a shout to see what he had going on we opted to start our day where we left off yesterday just north of Asbury and after 2 Drifts and picking through shorts Cal put a keeper fluke in the box and the wife 2 Keeper Seabass. Once the Drift picked up and a Cell Call To Capt. Joe we headed for the deep water, Always good to see my Mentor (Capt. Joe) on the water. The Wife once again was banging away on the shorts before she finally boxed a keeper. The Drift was really starting to pick up so we headed closer to the inlet and made a stop in some 60 foot of water off Asbury and with 10 ozs of lead and the sea anchor out we were drifting at 2.5 knots I was able to Box our biggest fish of the day 3.5 pounder. Ended the day with 4 fluke and 2 Seabass. Great weekend on the water
